Property: Lanthanum is a silver-white metal, soft and easy to cut. The fresh cross section is silver-gray and easily oxidized in air.
Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Ensure good ventilation in the workshop. Keep away from fire and water, and avoid contact with moisture. Do not store with oxides or acid substances. Must be stored in paraffin wax or mineral oil.
