Basic information:
The cross section of zone molten germanium ingot is trapezoid, the upper width is ≥26mm, the lower width is ≥21mm, the height is ≥23mm, the ingot length is 100-500mm, each ingot is sealed in a polyethylene film bag, and then loaded into a polystyrene box, the external wooden box is packed, and the steel belt is bound, the net weight of each box is about 25kg.
Germanium is a commonly used far-infrared material, which has good transmittance in the transmission range of 2000 nm to 17000 nm, and is opaque in the visible wavelength band, so germanium is very suitable for infrared laser applications, germanium has a very high refractive index, which is an ideal choice for biomedical and military imaging applications, commonly used in infrared thermal imaging systems, laser applications and so on.
